This Tribe's been quiet lately. Just trying to spark some discussion, wondering how everyone is doing in their journey.
Have you been practicing T4A? Any challenges lately? Anything you've been doing particularly well?
I find myself growing more and more comfortable with The Four Agreements in my life, now that I've been living with it for a few years. I am much less judgmental of others, and more importantly of myself. I understand when I'm doing my best, and when I'm not, and am more quick to steer myself back on the path of what's-right-for-me, when I go astray.
It still sure does take practice, though, and a re-reading of the book every few months.
How often do you re-read Don Miguel's teachings? Do you have one book you'll re-read more than the others?

Re: Update: So, how are you doing?
Tue, July 17, 2007 - 4:43 PMI know when I start to feel an assumption and catch myself, and am like whoa!. I caught myself in 2 conversations last week where the means of communication was gossip which left a bitter taste in my mouth. Now it's mostly applying the four agreements to the voices of my mind which is a greater challenge. Applying it to your own voices seems to me to be a catalyst of limitless creation. The most eloquent use of language cannot describe it. -

Tue, July 17, 2007 - 5:02 PMI'm re-reading The Mastery of Love right now. I love Miguel's analogy stories. The Magic Kitchen is such a powerful twist on the obvious.
Finding this path 5 years ago was like the moment a piece of sand starts to take it's turn thru the neck of the hourglass....the pressures I self-imposed were released, and the flow began. Now the freefall ride is exhilerating! (of course, the parasite continues to pester, but only when I forget that) Life is Good!
Love and Light..... All Things Bright!

Re: Update: So, how are you doing?
Wed, July 18, 2007 - 4:37 PMI can not describe how hard I am struggling with gossip.
My life lends itself to know more about people than anyone else and I am trying to avoid using that and being ethical, but The asshole in me really wants to burn a certain person.
O well as the fire subdues and the pain of being burnt by trusting someone so will the desire to use this power I have, It already is, but man last month was hard.
That said is the good... I have been ethical and true in my own words for the longest period of time in my life, and I can not even begin to explain the positive changes that has brought to my life! -

Sat, July 21, 2007 - 10:05 AMSpeak subjectively from a place of ownership.
For me, it's much easier to "live" TFA if I disengage from people. Living TFA from a place of active connection is much more of a challenge for me.
But I'm talking about my story.

Re: Update: So, how are you doing?
Sun, July 22, 2007 - 4:47 AMThat's a great observation, H. Dealing with your own predator is tough enough, much less others'. And so we disengage, and it feels like we're 'getting it' more and more. Then we re-engage with someone, and the wheels come off again! The challenge and opportunity is to stay in your integrity, regardless of your connectivity... no small feat !

Sun, July 22, 2007 - 7:31 PMWhat do you mean by speaking subjectively from a place of ownership? -

Re: Update: So, how are you doing?
Sun, July 22, 2007 - 11:00 PMFor me it means I speak about my experience and my reactions.
I mean subjectively because I only know my POV.
